Job summary

Unified Life Insurance seeks a Supervisor, Agency & New Business to oversee the operations function for annuity policy administration. You will lead the Agency & New Business team, manage staff, and partner with IT and compliance to streamline processes and ensure timely, accurate policy administration.

This role focuses on coaching staff, optimizing procedures, and delivering service excellence in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant operations experience with management responsibility.
• Experience in financial services and/or insurance is preferred, especially annuities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead an operations team.
• Creative thinker who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Agency & New Business operations team; oversee new business applications and agent appointments.
• Define and document SOPs; partner with IT for process improvements and system changes.
• Mentor staff; manage performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Ensure policy administration, licensing, contracting, and commissions are accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to meet regulatory requirements; participate in cross-department initiatives.
