Job summary

Unified Life Insurance Company seeks a Supervisor for Agency & New Business to oversee operations supporting annuity policy administration. You will lead the Agency & New Business team, drive strategic operational needs, and collaborate with internal and external resources to execute policy administration.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations and provide strategic guidance to establish this function. You will develop processes, mentor staff, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliant

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations and management experience in financial services or insurance (annuity) is preferred.
• Creative thinker able to work independently in a fast-paced organization.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff reviewing new business applications and agent appointment packets.
• Coach staff and manage performance, records, compliance, and hiring support.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; define business requirements for IT initiatives.
• Investigate procedural changes, reorganize work, and train staff.
• Mentor a team servicing new annuity products and licensing processes.
• Implement processes to ensure accurate policy administration and commissions.
• Coordinate with Legal and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Participate in cross-department committees on product and system changes.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, communications, training, and accountability.
• Develop service metrics and report results to senior leaders.
• Create training materials for rollout of new products.
• Provide backup coverage as needed.
