Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX or Montpelier, VT seeks a sales-focused role to grow business relationships with agencies and agents, acting as a subject matter expert on our products and processes. You will collaborate with field leaders to design and execute sales and marketing plans and educate agencies on our offerings.

The role sits onsite four days a week with periodic travel to agencies and conferences. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years life/annuity experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years industry experience in life and annuity products
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to drive growth and increase market share for assigned accounts

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a consistent and continuous new business pipeline through relationships, educating agencies and agents on NLG products
• Establish and grow strong relationships with existing strategic accounts with large growth potential
• Provide product analysis, illustration, and case design as a subject matter expert for stakeholders
• Independently grow and develop dormant agencies/agents
• Recommend new products and features to agents and agencies based on account needs
• Develop and collaborate on account strategies and marketing plans to deliver growth
• Onboard and educate new agents regarding NLG products and processes
• Maintain ongoing communication about policy/agent activity with internal groups
