Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager of Learning & Development for Operations in Texas. The role leads hands-on workforce enablement, operator certification, and technical training to support rapid growth from 10,000 to 15,000 employees by 2027.

You will oversee onboarding, NPI skill readiness, quality and safety compliance, and upskilling for complex AI hardware, TPU platforms, and networking systems across multiple Texas sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading technical training or operational L&D in electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience developing IPC quality certifications and shop-floor standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct Labor Onboarding & Productivity: accelerate onboarding for direct labor and contingent technicians.
• Skills Matrix & Operator Certification: establish shop-floor matrices and recertification processes.
• NPI & Engineering Alignment: translate product specs into standard training modules for launches.
• Multi-Site Standardization: align training standards and safety across Texas sites.
• Train-the-Trainer Capability: develop floor-level models for lead technicians and supervisors.
