Job summary

Beaumont, Texas-based Learning and Development Specialist sought to own and drive L&D programs across the organization. You will design, implement, and continuously refine learning initiatives, using data and feedback to close skill gaps and enhance leadership capabilities.

A strong emphasis on collaboration with HR, managers, and employees will be key to success. You will also develop annual training plans, assess needs, and build practical tools for performance management and succession

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• Seven+ years of progressive HR experience with responsibility for learning and development, organizational development, or performance management.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, hands-on implementation, and ongoing management of learning programs and performance management processes.
• Independently create programs from ground up—then launch, facilitate, maintain, and improve them to close skill gaps and strengthen leadership.
• Conduct training needs assessments and develop annual and department training plans based on gaps and priorities.
• Build tools and procedures for performance management and succession planning; help leaders set objectives and support development planning.
• Use metrics and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
