Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Intern in Denmark, WI for the 2027 summer. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Operations Team, working with multiple plant leadership teams to help roll out standardizations across plants.

You will review SOPs, gain hands-on exposure to plant workflows, and participate in or lead projects to streamline processes, reduce waste, boost efficiency, and enhance quality while collecting and analyzing OEE data

Qualifications

• Candidate must be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management.
• Junior or senior status preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
• Previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review SOPs for consistency across facilities.
• Gain hands-on experience with plant workflows across production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, safety.
• Lead projects to streamline processes, reduce waste, boost efficiency, and enhance quality.
• Collect and analyze OEE and downtime to support performance tracking.
• Make recommendations to improve SOPs.
• Work independently as well as with multiple site Operations Teams.
• Develop knowledge into daily operations activities.
• Maintain accurate work records in notebooks and project reports.
• Share ideas, questions, problems, and results with team members.
