Job summary

Event Strategies, Inc. seeks motivated Operations Interns for Winter and Spring 2027 in Alexandria, VA.

You will support day-to-day operations, assist in event logistics, project coordination, inventory management, and administrative tasks while contributing to live events nationwide. The role offers hands-on learning across Operations, Project Management, Production, and Finance teams, with on-site opportunities, warehouse work, scheduling, and post-event wrap-up support in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• Prior office, customer service, logistics, warehouse, or event experience is a plus but not required.
• Interest in business operations, project management, logistics, government events, or live event production.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief of Operations, Event Leads, and Operations Managers in daily operations and event execution by creating schedules, trip summaries, and tracking expenses.
• Support pre-event planning by preparing meeting agendas, taking notes in calls, and tracking action items and deliverables.
• Create and manage transportation logistics for equipment and personnel to and from event sites, including hotel blocks, flights, and rental cars.
• Maintain collaborative documents and administrative materials for all ESI projects.
• Conduct venue research, vendor sourcing, and vendor research projects.
• Assist with day-to-day upkeep of ESI headquarters including storage areas, supplies, and shipping/receiving for events and tours.
• Occasionally provide on-site support during events to address issues that arise.
• Assist with post-event wrap-up, organizing files, collecting photos, and contributing to debrief notes.
