Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Business Operations Intern to support the NAM OM&U Business Operations Organization. You will assist in turning around services and transforming customer management, with emphasis on data reporting, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires current enrollment in an undergrad or graduate program, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and excellent communication within a matrixed team.

Qualifications

• Students must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data visualization tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrixed team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage data, generate reports, and improve administrative or operational processes.
• Experience in operations, data management, project coordination, or a related support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Customer Performance Directors to ensure operational consistency and high-quality reporting.
• Maintain and improve data management systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accessibility of key performance metrics.
• Develop and streamline reporting templates to provide leadership with actionable insights regarding customer outcomes.
• Support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards to track project health and contract performance.
• Partner with the Customer Performance team to define and implement standard work protocols.
• Establish and document standard operating procedures to ensure uniform execution across the organization.
• Assist in the rollout of new processes, ensuring team alignment and adherence to established standard work.
• Act as a key operational resource for the Customer Performance Management organization.
