Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a motivated intern to work in Business Operations, analyzing data to identify trends and proposing improvements. You will create BI reports and user-friendly tools to help multiple business functions manage daily operations more efficiently.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time baccalaureate program in a technical field.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.).
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (unrounded).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) and languages like VBA, Python.
• Demonstrated internship or project experience in operations or engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

What you'll do

Work on a challenging assignment / project in Business operations to stretch your learning and skillsets. Analyze data to identify trends, propose improvements, and help solve operational challenges. Create intuitive tools/reports for helping the business functions to better manage their daily operations. Support Aero New Units Execution teams in data driven planning, process improvements and project tracking.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Enrolled in a full time nationally accredited baccalaureate program in a technical field.
• Desired Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and usage of AI tools ( Co-Pilot, Claude etc).
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 overall GPA (without rounding).
• Familiarity in data analysis related tools (Power BI, Tableau etc) and programming languages like VBA, Python etc.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in improving operational efficiency and contributing to innovative solutions using skills in AI, data analytics etc.
• Previous internship or project experience in operations or Engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $21 and $34/hr The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
