Werner Enterprises, Inc. is offering a summer Operations Intern - Optimization & Automation at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, NE.

This 11-week paid internship provides real-world experience with a focus on freight network optimization across multiple divisions. You will learn how Werner’s Optimization team leverages technology and AI to improve cross-modal efficiency, work with tools like Mastery TMS and HopTek suite, and participate in development activities, mentoring, and networking

Competenze

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
• Interested in gaining experience in logistics, supply chain, business analytics, or customer service.
• Eager to solve real-world problems and build relationships using cutting-edge technology.

Mansioni

• Assist Optimization and Dedicated Backhaul Team with freight network management.
• Support billing processes for freight and collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Ensure booked freight is entered in system and coordinate for on-time pickup/delivery.
