HMSHost is seeking an Operations Performance Controller in Atlanta to conduct financial and operational analysis across F&B and related lines. You will lead KPI reviews, support ventures, and drive cost optimization with branch management.

The role requires strong Excel/modeling skills, leadership experience, and deep financial acumen in hospitality or retail. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and professional experience must exceed 6 years.
• Leadership: 2 years supervising professionals in accounting/financial analysis.
• Technical role: 6–8 years in ledger reconciliation and financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree can count toward 2 of the 6 years; MBA counts for 2 more.

Responsibilities

• Track financial metrics across responsibility area to maximize sales and control costs.
• Evaluate risks and returns for potential new opportunities.
• Partner with branch management to improve store performance via KPI reviews.
• Assess accounting processes and support store-level sales and cost improvements.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and policies.
• Lead training on KPIs and inventory/cost optimization.
• Analyze joint ventures and vendor spend for savings opportunities.
• Ensure timely close processes and cash management reviews.
• Oversee internal accounting records and area reports.
• Drive price sweeps, menu/product optimization, and market share analysis.
