Job summary

Black Roofing & Waterproofing in Colorado hires a Production/Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across inventory, warehouse, fleet, facilities and equipment. You will plan, schedule, stock, coordinate deliveries, and maintain records (Fleet, DOT, tool checkout, timecards).

You’ll oversee fleet maintenance, safety training, and compliance while partnering with PMs, superintendents, and accounting to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required or equivalent.
• OSHA General Industry, Safety certification preferred.
• Forklift certification required or to be obtained upon acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Inventory Report generation and accuracy checks.
• Prepare order of materials & equipment for specific jobs.
• Manage warehouse & delivery driver staff.
• Maintain equipment/tool checkout/in log and related records.
• Review and process timecards via CE Field every Monday for prior week.
• Review employees annually and provide feedback and goals.
• Coordinate with vendors on incoming deliveries and material receipts.
• Ensure safety supplies ordering and proper storage/distribution.
• Maintain facility grounds and basic upkeep.
• Maintain vendor relationships and update contact info.
• Oversee fleet maintenance including inspections, GPS, fuel cards, and DOT items.
• Record keeping for DOT inspections and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure proper operation and training for equipment and heavy machinery.
