Job summary

CAROLINA ATLANTIC ROOFING SUPPLY LLC is seeking an Operations Manager in Gallatin, TN to lead CDL drivers and warehouse staff, oversee on-time delivery, and maintain inventory levels with a strong safety focus.

You will collaborate across Sales and Admin, drive process improvements, ensure OSHA and DOT compliance, and coach staff to deliver excellent customer service, with occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of material handlers and drivers by developing metrics, coaching and evaluating performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and safety regulations.
• Fill customer orders accurately, safely, on time, and without damage.
• Collaborate with Sales and Administrative functions to support branch goals.
• Promote good customer and supplier relations and effective product performance.
• Recognize achievements and drive engagement through staff meetings.
• Host operations meetings to review issues and compliance.
• Ensure staff follow safe work practices and manage resources efficiently.
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure client satisfaction.
