Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking an Operations Manager for the New Mexico Business Unit, based in Santa Fe. You will oversee facilities, office management, fleet, safety, onboarding, and event coordination, driving operational excellence and harmonizing systems and processes.

You will develop and implement tactics to meet strategic priorities, manage diverse tasks, analyze situations, and collaborate with teams to deliver effective services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting the data.
  • Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
  • Experience with business process analysis and/or improvement.
  • Experience with current technology in relevant field.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate routine facility needs in Santa Fe and other offices, including maintenance requests, HVAC issues, lighting, and vendor service calls.
  • Lead organizational events, including staff retreats, board retreats, holiday celebrations, and other gatherings.
  • Oversee fleet administration and inventory, including vehicle registrations, insurance docs, and promotional materials.
  • Provide independent judgment to prioritize tasks, manage projects with timelines, and ensure accountability.
