Job summary

EMCOR Group, a leading HVAC, building automation, chiller and retrofit contractor, seeks a Director of Operations in Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee daily operations across Service, Retrofit, Automation, Sales and Warehouse, aligning management objectives and driving strategic initiatives for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or organizational leadership required.
Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years’ experience in HVAC commercial service or related field.
8+ years P&L responsibility.
Experience supervising, coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across Service, Retrofit, Automation, Sales and Warehouse.
Lead changes after Management buy-in and drive improvements.
Coach department managers and recruit talent.
Develop one- and three-year business plans for the branch.
Monitor KPIs such as billable hours, gross margin, revenue and contract performance.
