Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking an Applied Service Manager to direct, manage, recruit, plan, coach, and support a team of applied technicians on projects and maintenance. The role focuses on large‑tonnage HVAC cooling systems and industrial process cooling applications, spanning chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and central plants.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience leading HVACR service teams and projects is essential.
• Proven ability to coordinate field crews and manage branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee applied technicians who receive work orders from dispatch.
• Coordinate with Field Supervision to schedule monthly PM inspections.
• Provide technical support to field teams and assist dispatch with parts orders.
• Estimate and write repair proposals for existing customers.
• Lead regular safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform site surveys for existing and prospective customers for new work.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Manage inventories, service vehicles, and sites; oversee branch assets.
• Recruit and evaluate technicians; conduct performance reviews.
• Engage with customers and schedule reviews with key branch accounts.
• Collaborate with Branch Management to develop the Branch Business Plan.
• Assist in developing new accounts and promoting service growth.
• Attend weekly branch operations meetings.
