Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking an Automation Foreman to lead and inspect automation devices and systems, diagnose malfunctions, and perform preventative maintenance. The role will manage multiple jobs and crews, while coaching other automation technicians.

Candidates should have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, extensive automation experience, and the ability to interact with customers at a supervisory level. Arizona fingerprinting and OSHA-10 are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
• 8+ years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming.
• Ability to get an AZ Level One fingerprint card
• OSHA-10 training minimum
• Working knowledge of at least three HVAC control systems (Delta, JCI or Andover)
• Interface with customers at supervisory/management level
• Engineering skills including electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming
• Good computer skills and understanding of controls networking
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Represent MPBAS with the customer during a construction project.
• Communicate project status and resolve issues with PM.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Review project submittals and bill of materials for accuracy.
• Maintain project schedules.
• Provide technical support for installers.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for design changes, graphics, and programs.
• Maintain project forecasting manpower requirements.
• Attend construction meetings and represent MPBAS.
• Maintain company installation standards.
