Job summary

Zūm is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Operations Excellence to drive process improvements across fleet operations, safety, compliance, and maintenance. You will build scalable KPI frameworks and dashboards, partnering with Operations, Fleet, Safety, Finance, Product, and field teams to deliver measurable impact.

This hybrid role is based at our Redwood City, CA headquarters with onsite work three days a week; Bay Area location is required.

Qualifications

• 510+ years of experience in operations, program management, or process improvement.
• Background in consulting, strategic finance, logistics or manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication with senior leadership presentation experience.
• Analytical mindset translating data into actionable insights.
• Experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and cadences.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs); SQL preferred.
• Experience in transportation, fleet operations, safety, compliance, or tech-enabled operations.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement, standardization, and KPI frameworks.
• Build dashboards and reporting across site, regional, and company levels.
• Lead cross-functional program initiatives with Operations, Fleet, Safety, Finance & Product.
• Ensure rollout and adoption of new processes and tools.
