Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations & Event Conversion Manager on-site at Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, AZ. You will oversee day-to-day facility operations, event services, and conversion activities, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure flawless event execution.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling, safety, and compliance, and drive successful room setups and breakdowns for conventions, concerts, and community events.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in venue operations or similar.
• 1-3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with large-scale events, conventions, concerts and multi-day programming.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, staging systems and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee venue operations with internal departments, clients, promoters, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during events and coordinate staffing, safety, and problem resolution.
• Oversee event setups, room turnovers, changeovers, and venue conversions based on event specs.
• Interpret event layouts, CAD drawings, and setup instructions to ensure accurate execution.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, life safety standards, and ADA requirements.
