Job summary

Legends Global in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Operations & Conversion Manager to oversee day-to-day facility operations, event services, and conversions at the Mesa Convention Center and Amphitheater. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety and readiness, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, logistics planning, and hands-on site management for multi-day events, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced schedule including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5+ years of venue operations experience.
• 1–3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale events, conventions, concerts, and multi-day programming.
• Experience operating event and facility equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, staging systems, and related tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee venue operations including Engineering, Building & Grounds, Technical Services, Event Services, Public Safety, Security, Custodial, and Parking.
• Coordinate activities with clients, promoters, contractors, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Ensure operational readiness of all event spaces, meeting rooms, exhibit halls, outdoor spaces, and amphitheater facilities.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during events, providing leadership and problem resolution.
• Oversee event setups, room turnovers, and venue conversions per event specs.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, life safety standards, and ADA requirements.
