Job summary

Legends Global is hiring for an Operations & Conversion Manager in Mesa, AZ at the Mesa Convention Center. The role oversees daily facility operations, event services, and all event conversions, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful, safe, and on-budget events.

The role requires 3–5+ years in venue operations and 1–3+ years of supervisory experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Event Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in venue operations, event services, event conversions, facility management, convention centers, arenas, amphitheaters, stadiums, or similar environments.
• 1-3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supporting large‑scale events, conventions, concerts, festivals, and multi‑day programming.
• Experience operating events and facility equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, staging systems, and related tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee venue operations, event services, and conversions to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate operational activities with internal departments, clients, promoters, contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee all event setups, room turnovers, changeovers, and venue conversions.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during events with leadership and issue resolution.
• Ensure OSHA, life safety, ADA compliance and facility policies and procedures.
• Interpret event layouts and CAD drawings to ensure accurate setups.
