Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking an Operations Dispatcher & Fleet Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between customers, field crews, and internal departments for efficient scheduling and dispatching of rental equipment and personnel.

The role requires strong organization, urgency, and decision-making to support profitability, with a schedule of Tuesday - Saturday and emphasis on cost-effective dispatch and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be the primary day-to-day contact for customers during rental engagements.
• Dispatching equipment and/or operators with focus on speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Generate and manage work tickets for field operations.
• Understand and monitor financial impact of dispatch decisions to improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for customers during rental engagements.
• Dispatch equipment and/or operators with a focus on speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Generate and manage work tickets for field operations.
• Monitor and understand the financial impact of dispatch decisions to improve company profitability.
• Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams and external clients.
• Provide technical knowledge and support to clients regarding equipment selection and usage.
• Review and prepare utilization and performance reports weekly/monthly.
• Plan and issue daily work tickets for field crews, ensuring readiness and accuracy.
• Coordinate transfer of equipment between branches to meet demand.
