Job summary

Johnson Health Center seeks a Director of Operations to partner with the COO and lead daily administrative and support services across all locations. You will supervise senior operations staff, monitor patient access, and guide facility planning and program implementation to drive efficiency and quality care.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced health center environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in Health Care Management or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with 3+ years administrative experience in health/human services.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mature judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across all Johnson Health Center programs.
• Collaborate with COO/President on policies, plans and grant-related programs.
• Direct supervision of Associate Directors for Dental, Pediatrics/OB-GYN, Family Medicine & Behavioral Health.
• Ensure access to care by monitoring wait times, scheduling, and patient feedback.
• Manage clinic schedules and analyze trends for productivity improvements.
• Coordinate facilities, safety, and project planning with Facilities Team.
• Lead internal optimization projects and assess areas needing efficiency gains.
• Assist in grant opportunity search and proposal development.
