Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations Designate to lead DC operations, including Transportation, Warehousing, facilities management, and QA compliance.

You will plan and support growth projects with training, tools, and equipment to boost productivity and service levels. This training role requires 5+ years in foodservice distribution, with strong accounting/analytical skills and IT systems proficiency.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of experience in all facets of the foodservice distribution Industry, preferably in the QSR sector.
• Accounting, planning, and analytical experience is required.
• Proficiency with Manhattan, AS/400, JDE, Excel, Word, Access; familiarity with XATA or PeopleNet is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements and cost implications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Transportation and Warehouse departments.
• Develop overall business planning and supply chain strategies linked to goals.
• Coordinate with corporate staff to improve service levels and KPIs.
• Execute QA criteria within supply chain processes; handle special projects as assigned.
