Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Operations Director II in Austell, GA to lead Transportation and Warehouse functions, drive QA and cost-efficiency, and align strategic planning with enterprise goals.

You will guide multi-shift operations, manage 200+ staff, and partner with customers to sustain service levels across major accounts. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in foodservice distribution, with strong analytical and IT skills and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in foodservice distribution, preferably QSR sector.
• Accounting, planning, and analytical experience is required.
• Strong IT and data skills with experience using ERP and MS Office tools.
• Ability to read financial statements and understand cost implications.
• Experience leading large DC and driver teams (200+).

Responsibilities

• Lead in development of business and supply chain planning goals.
• Coordinate with operations support to improve KPIs and service levels.
• Provide leadership for Transportation and Warehouse departments.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and optimize procedures.
• Understand and apply QA criteria in supply chain processes.
• Handle special projects as assigned by supervisor.
