Job summary

Penguin Random House Westminster Operations Center seeks a driven professional to support distribution operations through data analysis and process improvements. You will collaborate across functions on automation and material handling initiatives, conduct time studies, and assist warehouse system implementations while contributing to future operational growth and efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Office, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in industrial engineering, supply chain operations, or a related technical field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with complex formulas
• Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and levels of the organization
• Experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects
• Experience working with external vendors
• Experience implementing or supporting warehouse management systems
• Experience implementing or supporting automation systems and material handling equipment
• Experience training others
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets to communicate findings clearly
