Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily manpower, schedule shifts, and dispatch crews. The role coordinates shipping, transportation, inventory control, and data accuracy, while managing supplier and customer relations and EDI processes.

The position requires a high school diploma, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. General schedule is Monday–Thursday with overnight hours; extensive benefits and a competitive compensation package apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and federal guidelines.
• Proficiency in Excel for pivot tables, charts and formulas.
• Basic understanding of organizational objectives and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping for all orders, including basic orders and special projects.
• Arrange transportation according to routing guide.
• Analyze and review inventory to prevent overstock or shortage.
• Monitor data management to keep correct product codes, pricing and invoicing.
• Analyze POS to get customer/demand information and stock status.
• Create purchase orders per company policy.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and vendor regulations to avoid chargebacks.
• Create Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and inspect returns.
• Work with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Coordinate and manage EDI to align system changes with change control guidelines.
• Serve as client liaison for invoicing questions, billing, and credit processing.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and perform other duties as assigned.
