Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support the logistics manager with associate calls, new associate training, equipment maintenance, and all aspects of the logistics department.

You will help ensure DOT/CMV compliance, oversee product delivery, train staff on SGWS policies, maintain Road Net, coach associates, participate in recruitment, and monitor schedules to maintain staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the logistics manager with associate calls, customer calls, new associate training, maintenance of equipment, and all aspects of the logistics department.
• Oversee DOT and CMV compliance for all logistics associates, ensure delivery to customers, and ensure policy understanding.
• Maintain Road Net software and ensure fleet maintenance and safety-related issues are managed.
