Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Addison, TX is seeking an Inventory Costing Coordinator to manage GRIR reconciliation, AP processing, and invoice issue resolution with warehouses and internal teams. You will ensure accurate posting and strong customer service across divisions and external vendors.

The role requires SAP MM familiarity, Excel proficiency, and GAAP knowledge, plus attention to detail and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Material Management module a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions on invoices with discrepancies that are on quantity block and/or have been routed to the division for instruction on how to process by reaching out to warehouses, TDM, internal departments for AP to finalize posting.
• Prepare information and verify any changes to support accurate and efficient processing.
• Perform timely account reconciliation such as the GRIR report by verifying entries and comparing balances.
• Ensure correct approval, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers, including personnel from other divisions, vendors, suppliers, and other outside personnel.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Overview

The Inventory Accounting Coordinator must have knowledge of all accounting concepts, with GRIR reconciliation. The candidate must have Accounts Payable knowledge as it relates to issue resolution and directing AP on next steps in processing invoices issues. The Inventory Costing Coordinator is also responsible in communicating with warehouse, suppliers and various internal departments with resolving issues.

Physical Demands

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
