Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a full-time Inventory Coordinator to ensure timely supply of products. You will act as the liaison between commercial, operations, and other teams to align forecasts with fulfillment, analyze ETAs, and resolve back-orders to optimize customer service.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong computer skills, and deep knowledge of inventory processes across sales, planning, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements for brand transfers as needed.
• Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of inventory process practices including commercial sales, demand planning, accounting and operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between commercial, operations, trade development, and other departments to align forecast and fulfillment.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in ETAs, back-orders, and discontinued items.
• Support forecasting activities and adjust plans to improve forecast accuracy and customer service.
• Process internal transfers (in-state, out-of-state, intra-company) and manage inventory movements.
• Drive continuous improvement in the inventory process and remove bottlenecks.
