Operations Coordinator

Role Overview

Since its foundation in 1874, PIAGET has been cultivating a spirit of luxury while emphasizing creativity, attention to detail and fully integrated watchmaking and jewelry expertise. Originally specialized in the design and production of watch movements, the Manufacture expanded the scope of its expertise in the 1960s with the launch of astonishing jewelry watches, followed by innovative jewelry collections. PIAGET manufactures its luxury watches and jewelry in La Côte-aux-Fées and Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland.

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to the PIAGET Operations function for the Americas including US, Canada, and LATAM. This includes fielding a high volume of inquiries; primarily responding to needs from our wholesale network as well as our internal boutiques.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibility # 1: Sales Administration & Customer Service

  • Manage all aspects of order execution for multiple product categories: watches, jewellery, and accessories. Assist with order entry, confirmation, allocation, tracking.
  • Respond to high volume of inquiries regarding product, price, availability and delivery of products
  • Daily processing of Open Orders including liaising cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, and HQ Supply Chain teams to ensure stock needs are met and orders are released and shipped
  • Daily monitoring of Open Purchase Orders (incoming stock)
  • Execute sales-related transactions in SAP including but not limited to order entry, markdowns, credit/debit memos, returns, stock balances
  • Manage all aspects of Staff Sale minimum 2x per year
  • Assist with consignment reconciliation as necessary

Key Responsibility # 2: Systems Management

  • Must be systems savvy with an ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Provide SAP Key User support
  • Act as key user for MDM (Master Data Management)
  • Partner with IT/Systems support on a regular basis to clear red lights/system blocks in SAP
  • Manage EDI for National Accounts

Key Responsibility # 3: Cross-functional Communication

  • Will be a primary contact for cross-functional teams including:
  • Logistics teams in US, Canada, Latin America, and Switzerland: Outbound/Inbound, Inventory Control, Returns/QC, Import/Export, and Transportation
  • Finance & Credit dept to release orders
  • HQ in Switzerland: Supply Chain, Operations, After-Sales Service

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in Operations or comparable experience
  • Knowledge of Luxury Watch or Jewelry industry a plus
  • Experience working with luxury Department Stores a plus (Saks, Neiman’s)

TECHNICAL SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Full command of SAP a must; including Sales side and Purchasing side
  • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, v-lookup, sum ifs
  • Knowledge of Excel Analysis and/or Power BI a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to quickly familiarize with brand history and key product offerings
