Planted Solar Inc. is seeking an organized Operations Coordinator for our Oakland headquarters to support workplace, people operations, and administration.

You will be the first point of contact for the office, manage supplies, coordinate vendor and safety initiatives, and assist with onboarding and hiring processes. The role is in-person at our Oakland HQ, offering growth opportunities in startup operations and cross-functional exposure, with a compensation range of $70,000–$90,000 plus stock

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, people operations, or equivalent operations coordination.
• Demonstrated track record of organization, extreme attention to detail, project management, and ability to execute independently.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a bias towards action, hands-on aptitude, and resourcefulness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across internal and external channels.
• Tech-savvy and adept with tools like Google Workspace, Confluence, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and accounting software like QuickBooks.
• Desire to be full-time in person at our Oakland headquarters.
• High integrity with a passion for building inclusive candidate and employee experiences.

Responsibilities

• Office & Workplace Operations: primary point of contact for general office requests, manage supplies, janitorial coordination, filing, and vendor records.
• Administrative Support: purchasing, NDA log, COI handling.
• People Operations & Hiring Support: assist recruiting, coordinate travel, route offers, onboard/offboard, organize events.
