Job summary

Greater Nevada is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to perform specialized operational, compliance, and administrative tasks supporting credit union operations in Carson City. The role requires independent judgment, analytical skills, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The position emphasizes maintaining debit card portfolios, processing legal requests, and coordinating regulatory activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in banking, credit union operations, financial services, or related operational support role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional interaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain company instant issue debit card portfolio, including inventory management and distribution.
• Develop, maintain, and revise operational procedures and documentation for consistency and efficiency.
• Research and process legal requests and account inquiries per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and complete annual regulatory requirements (unclaimed property, IRS reporting, etc.).
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to employees on operational processes and services.
• Administer and maintain member statements and notices, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Process incoming mail deposits and returned mail with proper recordkeeping.
