Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking an Operations Specialist to support daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure accurate, timely billing. You will collaborate with district managers and finance to maintain profitability and high levels of customer service.

The role emphasizes order-to-cash tasks, billing adjustments, and resolving billing inquiries, while contributing to project planning and administrative support across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience billing; industrial, transportation, or similar experience preferred.
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly billing adjustments following order-to-cash procedures.
• Research and resolve routine and non-routine billing questions and discrepancies.
• Review invoices for completeness and accuracy; follow up to resolve discrepancies.
• Post cash receipts and payments in the billing system; reconcile misapplied payments.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
• Provide training and support to less experienced staff when needed.
