Vermont Housing and Conservation Board is seeking an Operations and Benefits Assistant to bolster our operational backbone. This role partners with senior leadership to keep the team connected, organized, and moving forward across HR, office management, and internal systems.
You will handle board logistics, benefits enrollment, onboarding, and portal maintenance, while supporting contracts, procurement, and cross-functional project work.

As the Operations and Benefits Assistant at the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB), you’ll play a pivotal role in the operational backbone of the organization - keeping our team connected, organized, and moving forward. Partnering directly with the senior leadership, this highly collaborative, dynamic role offers a vista point into the heart of our operations. You’ll gain wide exposure across Human Resources, Office Management, and Organizational Systems while helping to shape how our team works every day.
In this role, no two days are quite the same. You will touch nearly every aspect of VHCB’s back-end operations, with key duties as follows:

Compensation: $59,000 – $62,500 commensurate with experience.
