Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates to join the operations team. You will perform picking and packing, receive products, and support inventory control across the site and kitchen where applicable.

Reporting to a Site Leader, you’ll help ensure timely delivery and safety standards. This role suits motivated individuals who can stand for long shifts, lift up to 49 pounds, and work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant or retail environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensure inventory accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility.
• Manage waste and spoilage with FIFO practices.
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely.
• Work in freezer locations periodically.
• Prepare quality beverages and food items for customers observing recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Receive and put away orders and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements.
• Maintain Kitchen Facility organization to ensure resources are accessible while managing waste.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
