Ellipsis Labs, a profitable New York‑based startup building DeFi protocols, is hiring an Operations Associate. This contract role offers exposure to every part of the business, from office operations to recruiting logistics, with real ownership from day one.

You'll manage day‑to‑day office operations, procure equipment, coordinate events, support onboarding, and assist executives with scheduling and special requests as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Office Operations: Own day-to-day operations, inventory, events, guest experience, and office moves.

This role will begin as a contract position, with the opportunity to convert to a full time role based on mutual fit.

Ellipsis Labs is seeking an Operations Associate to join our team. You’ll be the operational backbone of the company, owning the systems and day-to-day execution that let a fast-growing startup run smoothly, from office operations to executive support to recruiting logistics. This is a high-visibility generalist role: you’ll get exposure to how every part of the company runs, with real ownership from day one and room to build and improve the processes as we scale. In this role, you will:

Office Operations

Own the day-to-day operations that keep our office running well, including developing a strong sense of what the space needs before it becomes a problem

Manage inventory, including laptop procurement and coordinating repairs or replacements when equipment breaks

Work with the team to craft best in class events, end-to-end

Own the guest experience

Own all things food for the team, including daily lunch and dinner, and keeping snacks and drinks stocked

Support the logistics and administrative work of an upcoming office move

Recruiting Operations

Work with our head of talent on interview scheduling and on-site coordination

Keep our recruiting systems clean and up to date

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for new hires and departing employees

Executive Support

Schedule business dinners on an as-needed basis

Handle one-off requests as they come up
