Job summary

The Rinks is hiring an Operations Associate to support daily operations across front desk, skate counter, snack bar and skate guard roles at our Poway facility. You will deliver exceptional guest service, manage cash handling and ensure smooth flow of guests during public sessions.

The role requires being 16 or older, a proactive, friendly team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Highly motivated self-starter with service mindset, enthusiasm and energy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Able to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and nights.
• Meets minimum reading, writing and mathematical requirements as needed.
• Rink operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk/Reception: present rink program info to guests and operate POS with accurate cash handling.
• Skate Counter: distribute skates and ensure proper size selection; manage guest flow.
• Snack Bar: knowledge of menu, handle cash and operate equipment.
• Skate Guard: monitor sessions for safety and assist guests on rink.
• Scorekeeper: perform scorekeeping and coordinate with referees.
• Party Host: set up party room and provide excellent guest service during events.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks and special events as required.
