Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, supervise hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales floor management and cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
