Responsibilities:

• Assist with operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays and fixtures.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales, including refilling coolers and displays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
