Job summary

Banner Property Management, LLC is seeking an Operations Support Analyst to join our Naperville team. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting, budgeting, and market trends across a multifamily portfolio.

You will collaborate with corporate and on-site teams, develop dashboards, and support acquisitions and portfolio transitions. A strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Office/Sheets are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
• 1–2 years of experience in multifamily property management, real estate, finance, business analytics, or another relevant analytical field.
• Experience working with property management, financial, or business intelligence systems.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, standardize, and maintain property- and portfolio-level data used for financial, performance, benchmarking, and historical reporting.
• Analyze rent, revenue, expenses, market conditions, and other performance data to identify trends, opportunities, variances, and areas for further review.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting for existing properties, newly acquired assets, and portfolio transitions.
• Research multifamily submarkets, competitive properties, rental rates, and market trends to support portfolio performance and business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, automated reports, forecasting tools, and other resources that improve reporting and operational efficiency.
• Support business systems projects, system testing, data analysis, and initiatives designed to improve access to and use of key business information.
• Review data and operational processes for accuracy, consistency, and efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with corporate and property management teams to gather information, respond to reporting and analytical needs, and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio transitions, new business opportunities, contract reviews, and other business initiatives through research, data analysis, reporting, and preparation of supporting materials.
• Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
