Job Description

Global Operations and Business Services supports TD Securities' trading, investment, and banking functions, focusing on innovation, excellence, and diversity. The team manages operational support, controls, and process improvements across the trade lifecycle, emphasizing customer focus and risk management.

Role Details

Assist the team with operational processes related to reconciliations and regulatory controls. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency while maintaining standards and controls in a global environment. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts across multiple business lines in New York, with a basic understanding of the trade lifecycle and operational environment.

Job Accountabilities
  • Monitor, escalate, and resolve Cash, Depo, and FOBO Breaks
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve breaks
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of break reports
  • Prepare metrics and analytics on breaks and fails
  • Support regulatory compliance by providing relevant data
  • Resolve exceptions and escalate complex issues
  • Understand business operations and regulatory requirements
  • Lead small projects and suggest process improvements
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
  • 1-10 years' experience in Capital Markets operations, product control, or financial control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and reconciliation skills
  • Team player with motivation to learn
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle and capital markets
Additional Responsibilities

The role includes supporting the Canadian Fixed Income Desk with corporate actions, cash reconciliation, and compliance activities, acting as a DTC clearance specialist, and managing relationships and projects within the team.
