The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking an Operations Analyst II to support the Taxpayer Services Process in the General Tax Administration Program. The incumbent assists taxpayers by phone and written correspondence regarding billings and delinquencies and takes actions to resolve accounts.

They update records and coordinate with other staff for final resolution. The role requires attention to detail and knowledge of departmental rules, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue within the General Tax Administration Program.
• One year of experience researching, reviewing, and resolving complex Florida tax account issues utilizing master data and financial information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

Responsabilités

• Assist taxpayers via telephone and written correspondence concerning departmental billings and delinquencies and take appropriate actions to resolve accounts.
• Examine and update departmental or taxpayer records and coordinate with other departmental personnel for final resolution.
• Provide accurate information and assist taxpayers or other Department specialists with inquiries regarding filing obligations and departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
