Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented reconciliations specialist to coordinate and resolve daily questions on general ledger processing.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure transactions align with policy and are processed accurately in servicing software. This role requires an associate degree in accounting or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience, strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years industry related work experience.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and Adobe.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline driven fast paced environment while delivering superior customer service.
• Ability to make sound, responsible decisions in a timely manner.
• Previous experience in equipment finance industry.
• Previous experience in InfoLease.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and resolve reconciliation and process questions/issues daily across departments.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile transactions to general ledger in servicing software.
• Manage passthrough payments and billing subsidies; communicate timely with internal/external customers.
• Serve as liaison for internal and external regulatory and compliance exams.
• Support internal controls and participate in operations projects to improve overall performance.
• Assume change ambassador role to enhance team effectiveness.
