Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a reconciliation specialist to coordinate and resolve daily reconciliation questions and issues.

You will collaborate with teams across departments to ensure transactions are processed accurately and will maintain a proactive, customer-focused approach in a dynamic environment. The role emphasizes strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment while delivering superior customer service.
• Previous experience in equipment finance industry or InfoLease is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations in servicing software with reference to the Account Reconciliation Policy.
• Manage communications to resolve reconciling items with all parties.
• Oversee general ledger reconciliation and passthrough payments to investors/partners; assist with subsidies billing.
• Communicate timely and accurately transaction details to internal/external customers.
• Prepare settlements with investors/partners and support regulatory/compliance exams.
