Zusammenfassung

Truist Financial Corporation seeks an Operational Risk Management Programs Risk Officer I to lead development and execution of core ORM programs aimed at identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting operational risks across the organization.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, regulatory adherence, and ongoing training to raise awareness and strengthen risk governance across business units.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 years of banking or related management experience.
• Strong operational risk management knowledge, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders, and interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present issues, observations, and recommendations.
• Adept with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of regulatory expectations related to operational risk scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk quantification.
• Experience facilitating scenario workshops across multiple business lines.

Aufgaben

• Provide guidance and oversight on ORM programs to ensure risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting and mitigation across the Corporation.
• Implement the ORM Program(s), including policy, procedures, systems, training, monitoring and validation.
• Promote operational risk awareness through training activities.
• Ensure program components meet regulatory expectations and align with best practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in all business units and second line functions.
• Stay abreast of emerging risk issues and incorporate learning into processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Scenario Analysis methodologies, governance, tooling, data quality and reporting.
• Experience with external loss databases, consortium data or industry benchmarking sources (e.g., ORX).
