Job summary

Truist is seeking an Operational Risk Management Programs Risk Officer I to lead the development, implementation, and execution of core ORM programs. The role focuses on identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting operational risks, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives for proactive risk management.

The person will oversee policy, training, monitoring, and validation of ORM components, while promoting risk awareness and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years banking or related management experience.
• Strong operational risk management knowledge and leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and spoken communication能力.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and oversight on ORM programs to identify, monitor, and mitigate operational risk.
• Implement ORM programs including policy, procedures, systems, training, and validation.
• Promote operational risk awareness through training activities.
• Ensure program components meet regulatory expectations and align with best practices.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders across business units and second line functions.
• Stay current on risk management, process automation, and related disciplines.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Scenario Analysis and data quality.
