Job summary

PPG in Circleville, OH seeks an Operational Excellence Training Coordinator to drive plant performance by leading continuous improvement initiatives and operator training. This role is onsite at the Circleville plant and reports to the Operations Manager, with responsibilities spanning training plan development, group and individual training delivery, and documentation management.

• Experience leading and developing others in a chemical manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of EHS and Quality systems.
• Strong ownership, initiative and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations for employee training and cross training.
• Develop training plans and manage training timelines.
• Present site training initiatives in group and individual settings.
• Maintain training documentation and ensure compliance.
• Lead and participate in CI projects to improve safety, quality, service and costs.
• Provide coverage for production supervision as needed.
• Communicate manufacturing status to leadership.
