Job summary

PPG is hiring an Environmental Engineer for our Circleville, Ohio plant. You will provide direction and training to maintain a safe and healthful workplace and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health laws and regulations.

You will work closely with manufacturing, EHS, technical and engineering teams to deliver a unified EHS message, sit onsite, and report to the EHS manager. Join us to make an impact at PPG.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering,Environmental Science or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience with CAA, CWA, and EPCRA permits and reporting.
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and PPG environmental regulations and policies.
• Manage CAA/MACT/CWA/EPCRA reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, technical and engineering teams to unify EHS messaging.
• Develop leading indicators to improve sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste, spills).
• Provide leadership and coaching to motivate change.
