Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager in New York to lead the deployment of our OpEx system across the site, driving zero-harm, quality improvement, waste reduction, and equipment performance.

You will develop site OpEx strategy, coach frontline leaders, and create training materials while advancing quality initiatives and Lean deployments to keep us at the forefront of the glass manufacturing industry.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kaizen events and implementing operational excellence tools.
• Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics flows.
• Experience developing and implementing quality systems (PFMEA, control plans, standardized work, layered audits).

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage OpEx system to support the site team and strive for zero harm, quality improvement, waste reduction, and enhanced equipment performance.
• Develop site OpEx strategy, initiatives, activities, coaching and training material.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with Front Line Leaders to execute OpEx projects.
• Oversee and develop quality initiatives and metrics with operations to lead industry-leading practices.
